QuickAmp: The most compact solution for neurophysiology research

Responding to the strong increase in the interest of the neurophysiology research world in simultaneous recording of EEG, bipolar and peripheral signals, Brain Products designed the QuickAmp system. This all-in-one-box solution is available in different configurations:

?40-channel system with 32 EEG channels, 4 bipolar channels and 4 auxiliary channels

?72-channel system with 64 EEG channels, 4 bipolar channels and 4 auxiliary channels

?136-channel system with 128 EEG channels, 4 bipolar channels and 4 auxiliary channels

The QuickAmp amplifier can be considered one of the most advanced devices available in the neurophysiology research market today. Outstanding features are described below.

The actiShield™ active shielding technology delivers much cleaner data than can be achieved under standard recording conditions. Channel by channel, the environmental noise picked up by the cable’s shielding is fed back to the amplifier where it is actively suppressed. The QuickAmp has a 24-bit A/D converter and consequently an extremely high signal resolution and operating range. The high input impedance of nearly 1 T Ohm ensures very fast cap preparation.

The QuickAmp can also be used with our actiCAP to combine a state of the art amplifier for neurophysiology recordings with the most innovative cap on the market. A variety of polygraphic sensors can be connected to the galvanically coupled auxiliary inputs which take the necessary power directly from the amplifier.

Of course, there are also many accessories available for the QuickAmp. E.g. we offer silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCI) electrodes for bipolar measurements (like EMG, EOG, etc.) that can be connected directly to one of the QuickAmp's bipolar ports via a 4-pin connector.
